Default Re: Response email from Sen. George Allen

Give me liberty or give me death. I am an adult in the what used to be the most free country on the face of the Earth. The right to make bad or good decisions is my choice. I make good decisions there for I am a winning poker player. Alcohal destroys lives every day. Bad food is causing a diabeties epidemic in America. Rap music incorages bad behavior. Yet still I see no need for you to try to protect me by making me a criminal doing something that provides me enjoyment and entertainment. This is a question of fredom. If you made it more legle it would be brought on shore and avalible for regulation that protects children and stops organized crime. Instead you want to push poker and gambling further underground. Playing online poker has provided me a safe and easy venue to play. Prior to this I had to play in underground card rooms which it is safe to say where run by criminals. If you take away my ablity to play online poker I will have no other choice except to play in underground card rooms. You say you are passing this bill to hinder organized crime. I say organized crime benifits from this measure because we will now be subject to thier suply........
