The problem with the pricing is not that it really is unreasonable (because it isnt considering what one gets), but for this kind of software its unreasonable.
You are good and way ahead of everything out therer at THIS moment but you also know how quickly the market adapts, betters and copies products like these... You will probably find that it is only a matter of time before somebody else copies or makes something very similar but with a pricing a lot lower...and where will you be then? Hopefully you increase the level of your product all the time so that you are consistently ahead of everyone else but you might find that a problem... My prediction is that you will maximum be able to get $100 for a LIFE subscription in a years time... Think of PT...and HUD... And remember IBM and the Microsoft debacle... You guys are good but to think that your product is so unique that you can price it at about a zillion times as much as PT is...like thinking you can have a 10BB/100 winrate at any table in the world for the rest of your life.... But congrats on a good product! P.S None of you have done much market analysis or econ I gather... |
