isn't this an increase for 1/2...didn't it used to be 6 pts per 20 hands.

Yes. And they lowered it for .50/1.
No more pts for deposits.
Gold/Silver thresholds for attain/retain seem to have changed.

I thought .5/1 NL (my game) had been 4 and is now 5.

I like how they made limit and NL the same and just did it by blind sizes (assuming that I'm reading the table correctly/. Cause 1/2 limit players and 1/2 NL players certainly pay equal amounts in rake.

Where are you seeing the new system. When I go to Players Club -> How to earn Party Points form my account on their web site I get what looks like there old system.

No, it used to be 4 pts per 20 hands.

I play mostly limit (1/2 and 2/4 SH, now awarding 8 and 12 points per 20 hands respectively) and I agree that this sucks majorly for players at NL50 and NL100.
