the 100k is all party's money. The satellite money is going into the big final next year [/ QUOTE ]Yes, but my point is that those people aren't "freerolling" since they paid to get in. |

So... 6 weekly before first monthly, does that mean 12k players in monthly or is it 8k max and musical chairs?

Well got the qualification at least, no money though, but since I was rather shortstacked after losing a big all-in to a lower pocket pair I guess it's fair enough, chances of my making a big enough comeback to reach the money were slim.
Now for the harder part, getting to the monthly was dead easy, qualified both rounds in 1st attempt, guessing this next step won't be quite so easy, top 1k/8k with more skilled players is anything but trivial. Making the final wuld be sweet though, 20M pricepool at least with only 8000 players is an average of 2500$ per person, and the pricepool could easily be larger than that. Btw value of a monthly qualification for an average player: 1M/8k + 1/8*20M/8k = 437.5$ |

Why you guys continue to play on a site that continually [censored] on it's players is beyond me. The "monster" is a slap in the face to every semi-serious player who plays low to mid-limits.
The argument that they have all the fish does not hold water anymore IMO. |

i've made a ton of money since this promotion started...enough to justify playing the monster tables and the extra rake because my win rate is that much higher.
all the fish are out to play because they want to win the lottery. |

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere in the 79 pages that have been posted, but can someone give me a short answer regarding how many hands have to be played at a Monster table in order to qualify for the weekly freeroll?

they haven't had any of their weekly 'points for monster-entry' promotions yet. They say they will have them, but they haven't announced any yet.
Right now, I think the only way to qualify for the monster via the cash-game tables is to be at a table when a BBJ hand hits at the same stakes and game you are playing. I think this means that if you are playing 2/4 limit-monster and a BBJ gets hit on a different 2/4 limit-monster table then you will get a monster-entry. So if you mix it up some and play 2/4, 3/6 and 5/10 limit-monster you will be increasing your chances of winning an entry by a little bit. I have no idea if you get 3 entries if you are playing at 3 different 2/4 monster-limit tables when it hits. The other ways to qualify are via their special monster SNG's and MTT's. |
