The woman seriously could not read words longer than two syllables, and she would just butcher normal, everyday words. She pronounced "agricultural" as "algercutcheral." She pronouned "Ishmael" as "Israel." And she pronounced (I swear on my mother's eyes that I am not making this up) "Knossos" as "Crete." It was not a slip of the tongue, either; she did id multiple times over multiple days. |
