Should I quit due to excessive bad beats???

I'm hoping this is joke. If it isn't you should keep in mind that the goal of playing poker is not to avoid bad beats. Your goal should be to make money. Better opponents will give out fewer bad beats, but they also give away fewer chips. The games that are filled with donkeys, are the most profitable games to play in.

Telling people complaining of beats to move up in limits is a fairly standard answer on the 2+2 forums. You'll see it pop up occasionally. I suppose the humor is that a lot of bad players like to think they'd make more money if they didn't get sucked out on so they should move up. They are right, they would make more money if they didn't get sucked out on. But they make a lot of money when the suckouts don't happen.
