[ QUOTE ]
Brendan sorry if you misunderstood I dont have a problem with something like that I was just saying i was thinking of using my website and my neteller/paypal accounts to take the money so it will all be easily tracked...as u may know paypal insures payments and by doing that I would be providing anyone who enters with all of my information including my home address and everyone would have proof of payment as well. what do u think? [/ QUOTE ] I think you're WAY too interested in holding the money. Guys, I'll hold the money, but it would be better if Performify did. I'm running bad at NL, so I'd probably embezzle it all. |

I don't think anyone would have a problem running the picks or such through a website.
Its just very few people are interested in sending a guy they've never seen money. If you were an established participant on the forums its a different story. |

If I am to do this through my website I will do it in such a way that all my information is made available to everyone participating, plus I will make sure that there will be existing proof of payment for every participant. .... let me know if you think its a good idea

Some people know each other personally. Others have just been here for multiple years and know each other by internet reputation
Someone new to the site is always welcomed, but there's a big difference between welcoming someone's participation and trusting them to hold money for a contest. |

We had one here last year, for $10. I joined in, because I didn't give a damn if somebody ran off with my $10.
I wouldn't put $200 into this, unless Mason, David, or Mat held the money (and no, I'm not volunteering them for this chore, I'm just using their names to make a point). (BTW, a lot of us were forced to buy two entries, as sending <$20 via Neteller seemed to be difficult. I'd recommend a $20 pool. Enough to keep Neteller happy, and not enough to lose sleep over the thought of embezzlement.) |
