Hi,

My name is Fred Balfour. I am the General Manager at WSEX. I will be available to answer questions on this forum and hopefully fast track solutions should problems arise.

The upgrades will continue. We want WSEX to be known for the best platform as well as No Rake. It’s a constant work in progress. We appreciate all feedback, particularly from this forum.

Hand histories to hard drives, the ability to play more than three tables, 6-Max and others are all in the pipeline. Feel free to post other requests in this thread. If another site has it, and you want it, we will try to add it. At the same time we will constantly work on improving the stability of the application and keeping lag times to a minimum as we grow.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Fred

Not even gonna' try to wade through all of these replies to see if this has been asked, so my apologies in advance if it has.

I have downloaded your s/w but want to install to a drive other than c:/ which at least as of a couple of months ago, your s/w didn't allow.

Not all of us want poker software running on our main (i.e. work) drive. We would like to download and run from an external drive. And renaming my work drive isn't an option.

If this flexibility were there, I'd give your site a shot.

Write hand histories to disk but do not include the opposing player names. Everyone gets the tracking ability for themselves but not the fish finding and HUD capabilities.

This would be unbelievably cool!!!

Just show me and the seat#'s for the other players in the HH. And let me save it to my hard drive immediately, and have instant HH's.

PT for me would look like this:
MyName
Seat #1
Seat #2
Seat #3
....

And no other player names.

We get to keep records and know that players who are playing vs. us only have what they have personally made notes on and seen during the current session.

#2)
I'm not sure what it would cost but a High-Limit game with known pros (Class C pros and/or internet known names would be fine). Pay them $X to play for 2 hours or whatever and announce to people they can watch it.
Set the game up with a 2 to 5 minute delay and a VuGraph where people can chat and discuss the action.

Ever see HighStakesPoker on GSN? Something like that except people could chat (you may need various chat rooms or have it so people can set up their own).

People would come to the site to watch that.

#3) 4 tables is fine.

Sorry i dont like the idea of excluding player names from hand histories. No other site has ever done it, and yes it makes it harder to use PAHUD but in the end i dont think its worth it. For one, how can I go back through my histories and find someone I suspect is colluding on me anymore?

Spino - Fair enough, everyone gives an opinion and WSEX will go do as they will.
Personally I don't mind the name thing (I do use GT+), I just thought it seemed like a happy medium and I HATE not getting HH's and being able to document my wins / losses. (I am not going to start doing it by hand).

#4) More for the Sportsbook but:
Have a 'daily game' with a ticker in the Poker Lobby. And a click here to bet the game. (Or maybe even a next starting game).
For one thing people will stop doubting as to why you have a Poker Room.

#5) Make it much easier to bet on other things.
I've had to work very hard to lose my money in your sportsbook

#6) T-Shirts and stuff.

this is a ridiculous idea for WPEX.

Some of these ideas are more related to "what do you think EVERY site should change" which I think is a bit different than "what are the biggest problems at WPEX that need to be addressed"
