Default Party Poker Monster Thread

Looks like an extreme version of BBJ to me. I think they build a jackpot and hold a big tournament once they have enough participants. How do they select participants? Through some kind of bad beat is my guess. Also it looks like the prize pool is going to be around 10 million or so.

Discuss.

Edit: This info. comes form the Party Life magazine. Anyone who plays at PP and is a member if PPA should have gotten it. I tossed mines so someone else should check.

Monster Jackpot cash games:
When a jackpot hits, the players dealt into the jackpot hands will win entries into the $100,000 Monster Weekly Freeroll of their choice! You can also win a Monster Weekly freeroll when you are not at the jackpot table! Simply be dealt into a raked hand when the jackpot hits, at a Monster Jackpot table of the exact same type (same game, maximum number of seats, and limits/antes/blinds), and you'll grab an entry as well!

I guess this explains why we've had no July VIP. They've been too busy working on this dumb promo...

6666.

I think it's half bad beat jackpot, half tournament entries to something or other. It's going to take 11 months...

I really hope this is not some how going to be considered the VIP offer. I know it is open to everyone, but you know how Party rolls... this could be it for the next 11 months. UGH!!!
