The poll is obviously impromptu and not well thought out.

You are missing several greats.

The top of the chain for m e is Stu Ungar for obvious reasons

What, no Bill Baxter? The guy has SEVEN WSOP bracelets! SEVEN!

[/ QUOTE ]

Who? Now people are just making up names.

[/ QUOTE ]

No Bill Baxter is real. In addition to his poker career, he played David Banner opposite Lou Ferrigno on the TV version of The Incredible Hulk.

So, I'd say he's more of an actor that plays poker, and thus not truly qualified as a "legend" per the criteria stated on this thread.

The obvious vote is John "the Hurricane" Gale.

THANK YOU.

wow, the mask is off

Diablo=Madsen

this was my first thought. My second is to wonder how so many people who would consider themselves good poker players could make such bad reads on this post.

I obviously consider myself the best tournament player of all time because I've never heard of any of the guys on Diablos list and the tournament win at my house last night gives me four in 6 weeks.

How are Daniel and Phil leading this poll?

I love that the new guy wins 2 bracelets and suddenly he's better all-time than Doyle and Johnny.

Diablo, you're obviously an idiot.

At twenty-two thousand posts, he's either been an idiot for a long time, or you should shut up.

imso,

OK, I do not know who this cunninham guy is, but i'm pretty sure you are confused about Ivey. He plays in the big cash games (mainly Stud) and is not a tournament player. I am not sure about Seidel, but I know for sure he lost to Johnny Chan when Johnny Chan trapped him with the nuts in the WSOP and I would be surprised if he really has 8 or 9 titles (maybe you mean final table appearances, which is a different thing), 1 or 2 would be more believable.

Polltrolling, are we, Masked One?
