No, when she's in the security room thinking about how the phone got in her pocket, it shows a flashback of her and Danny Ocean in the restaurant, when he's saying goodbye to her. He put it in her pocket when he leaned in to kiss her on the cheek.
That is the same night of the heist and the fight, because right after Danny says goodbye to Tess, he gets picked up by Benedict's henchmen. ScottieK
