In "Lake House" the part after the previews until the part where they show the names of everyone who profited from that steaming pile of crap.

This may not fit here but in the movie Heat Al Pacino never ends his phone conversations with "good-bye" or anything else. He always just hangs up on people. WTF?

[/ QUOTE ] i dont' think this is odd at all...depending on who im talking to i don't always end my conversations with some indicator...usually both parties know the conversation is over so i just hang up, its not done in a rude way... |

[/ QUOTE ] My searching skills are substandard: has this been an OOT / QZ thread yet? Because I thought it's been pretty much the norm to never say goodbye (and not because of Bon Jovi). Sorry for the hijack. |

Plus, just about the whole of Point Break. [/ QUOTE ] What are you talking about? This was an example of excellent investigative work by two very skilled FBI agents, Angelo Pappas and Johnny Utah. |

Ocean's 11 - What's the point of George Clooney prentending to be "out," and then being in the elevator shaft? What was the plan prior to that? Why try and mess with the guy helping you rob a casino? [/ QUOTE ] This has baffled me for a while. I don't what the point was. I guess it was some kind of "test" for Matt Damon's character. speaking of lucky concidences. How did George Clooney know that Julia Roberts would be wearing the same coat she wore a few days earlier that he hid the cell phone in? or that she wouldn't have noticed it earlier and got rid of it? |

No, when she's in the security room thinking about how the phone got in her pocket, it shows a flashback of her and Danny Ocean in the restaurant, when he's saying goodbye to her. He put it in her pocket when he leaned in to kiss her on the cheek.
That is the same night of the heist and the fight, because right after Danny says goodbye to Tess, he gets picked up by Benedict's henchmen. ScottieK |

In the Rock when Sean Connery is leading everybody into the island, he rolls through the spurts of fire because he "memorized the timing." Then once he gets in, he opens a door to let the rest of the team in.
Why would he have learned the fire timing when he could have just opened the door and walked out in the first place? |
