If the programming field is anything like the web design field, this kind of stuff doesn't really matter all that much. They care more about the work you have done peviously and your skill level.

I've taken hungover naps on conerence room floors, emailed future hires and warned them about steering clear of the company I was working for, got super drunk at work and poured water all over myself to simulate crying, etc. and I still have no problem finding web work all around LA.
