By the way, the advice in this thread is wrong. Correct answer is Dell Inspiron 9300, and it's not even close. [/ QUOTE ] And like the 6000, the 9300 is now only available used or refurbished. The E1705 is Dell's only consumer-level notebook available new with WUXGA. |

Go back to the home page and click on "small business". It's under there. Not really sure of the difference between the 9400 and E1705, though. They look pretty similar.

How customizable are the Mac Mini's? If I bought the base model now, could I upgrade the RAM and stuff later?

[/ QUOTE ] Well, they're really small, so there's not much you can add to them except RAM (wireless and bluetooth are standard), and they use only one stick, so you'd have to swap it out. The case is a little tricky to open, but the RAM is very accessible once you get the case open. Here's a site with video tutorials: http://eshop.macsales.com/tech_cente...directory.html |

With the WUXGA display 4 tables w/no overlap is no problem. If you buy Dell make sure to check out a site like Coupon Mountain for discount codes. There's almost always a coupon deal. I added options to mine to get the price up to $1999, which entitled me to $750 off. Basically got every option I'd want for $1250. |

Here's my .02: I have used Dells for about 8 years. The Inspirons had some inferior parts about 4 to 5 years ago in my opinion, I think now the Inspiron is a great laptop I use the 6000 and have not had a single issue.
BTW I am an IT manager and all I will purchase are Dells. |
