Fold preflop. This not the kind of hand you want to play against an UTG raiser. If several players cold called then I would consider playing.

Why did you feel "it was warranted to splash around with the UTG raiser" You said you had no reads on him.

I really don't like the PF call but if I was in this situation on the flop I like your play of check-call,bet-fold.
Depending on the opponent I might Bet-Fold, Check-Fold here. The only reasonable hands your beating are AQ,AJ, and possibly 99,88
