Default Too weak-tight with KK?

whenever you have KK pre you're always on the lookout for the 3-outer, and i certainly was here. i didn't have any stats or reads, on the villain, other than that it was a she and this was party NL25 (ie default read is LP). is this too tight or just right?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

CO ($39.81)
Button ($27.99)
SB ($46.92)
BB ($24.58)
UTG ($25.91)
Hero ($23.15)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
UTG calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.25, 1 fold, Button calls $1.25, 2 folds, UTG folds.

Flop: ($3.10) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($3.10) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $1.2, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $4.30

Just lead the flop. I always lead flop with KK even when there is an ace on board when I was the agressor preflop. If I get played back at, I play poker then.

You have to look at alot of things here. What is her range to cold call a preflop raise to 5x? And on this board, a bet would have made things really easy. It is so dry you haev to assume she has an ace. I look alot at board texture and try and make a read. But if you lead into a ace board and have a coldcaller preflop, I'd be weary of continuing.

Sometimes people who call preflop raises just have pocket pairs and are trying to hit a set on the flop. Definately make a CB to eliminate those players.

Make a standard c-bet on this flop for sure.

I'm betting at least $2 here over 95% of the time; dont let assumptions of the worst make you forget about all other hands in someone's range.
