[/ QUOTE ] i saw the Rascal Flatts on some award show and my impression was "oh god, it's like a country boy band full of guys who were jocks in high school" of course, that was based solely on about 30 seconds of airtime and could be completely wrong edit: try Kathleen Edward or Steve Earle or any of the old alt.country acts like early Wilco, Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo, and Whiskeytown |

a little more - two of those early influences credit Townes Van Zandt - get a greatest hits album or I'll find one for ya to buy that's good. Hank Williams was country - Jr. is ok too but I get tired of the redneck stuff sometimes rb |
