Default Last Frontier 2+2ers?

So I've been working at the Last Frontier in La Center, WA for about a month and a half now as a poker customer service rep (which is what the cool kids are calling the brush these days, I guess), and I'm curious - are there any 2+2ers amongst our regulars? Or irregulars for that matter.

I've been lurking for a couple years so I know there's a contingent in the Portland area. Figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

There's at least one. But you know better than anybody, c'mon, Frontier is so not 2+2. I'm not planning on coming in for a while but next time I am in I'll give you a s'up bro. You'll recognize me then. Cheers!

I was there about 3 years ago. I won about $400 playing 4-8 limit hold'em in 2 hours. I then went across the street and won another $800 at blackjack. I am planning to visit again next year. La Center is da bomb, yo.

Hi LFWaz,

I started playing 10-20 there occasionally about 4 months ago, maybe 1-2 x per month. I used to play 3-6 at chips, but the step up in talent in the 10 game is minimal at best, at least when I've been there.

Are there any plans to expand the place? I like that I can call in to get on the list, but the 3+ hour waits are brutal.

Ill try and look for you next time I'm up.

Later,
Ethan

Habsfan, good to meet you bro. Hope the fish aren't schooling you as we speak... :-)

Ethan, to answer your question, our Poker Room Manager would like to expand, but it's probably not going to happen. As I understand it, WA Gambling Commission law only allows for 15 tables in a room like ours, and we have 8 occupied by the pit games, leaving us only the 7 for poker. The pit brings in a whole bunch more revenue than the poker tables, so an expansion is unlikely at best.

Looking forward to meeting the rest of you,

Scott

I'm an irregular. In Portland a couple times a year and usually drive up for an afternoon or two when I am there.

I live in Portland and play and have played up there about 4 times in my 1.5 year career as an online player. I haven't played enough to ride out any variance obviously, but I haven't done well at the 4/8 game. The 3/6 game is hilarious. I only come in at 9 AM and play till about 2. That must be the worst time to play there in terms of softness of games, right?

What's the 10/20 game like?

psw

ps. I'm a solid winning 2/4 PP player who is barely winning at 3/6 PP.
