I think you stand a good chance of making it on the show, Ed. Bravo has Celebrity Poker Showdown and I believe the Queer Eye guys did an episode of it. If you play up your standing in the poker world, Bravo can do a crossover thing in Vegas and incorporate your job into your makeover.

I will write an email showing support for this.

They already did a poker player and had Phil Gordan give him some tips. Thats gonna make it harder for the NPA to get a shot.

I can see it now.
Ed's new book will be:

"Small-Stakes Style and Fashion: Looking Good with Queer-Eyed Plays"

FWIW, I went to an open casting yesterday, and they were excited about me. They also say they want something "Vegas-y," and I fit that bill. My story is also a bit different from Gordon's.

We'll see... I think I got a shot. Last night Clarkmeister was selling me at even money, but buying at 3-to-1.

I didn't mean to imply they gave Gordan a makeover, they just did some random Poker player from NY I think and had Phil as a guest to give the guy advice.

Ed's propenstiy for the word "fantastic" isn't going to help the straight guy angle here.

If this goes through, we may have to start calling him Fabulous Poker Authority.
