Brady's pass on 3rd down in red zone to Champ's direction was so -EV. I think Pats just gave it away (refs contributed too of course). Broncos are not a great team.

Had they called it that way on the field, that would not have been overturned either. However, both refs were standing right there on the endzone. They called it the way they saw it.

1) and 2) - there's no reason to believe that denver would have gotten no points otherwise.

1) if there's no pi call, it's 2nd and 10 from the ne 40.
2) if they call false start, it's a 55 yard field goal try.

on 3) there clearly was not "indisputable visual evidence" that the call on the field was wrong, unless you saw something that millions others didn't see.

I will provide you with the sum of $1000 if you can show me a videoclip or a vidcap that conclusively shows the ball crossing the goal line before going out of bounds.

i dont understand, with the amount of money that goes in to the NFL, why are there not cameras going down every sideline and goaline and some overhead cameras. this would be very helpful for replays and it seems stupid that they use arbitrary camera angles, when they know there are areas that are more likely to need replay.

I watched the game with 3 other Pats fans. While we were obviously dismayed and pissed that the call didn't go our way, deep down none of us expected it to be overturned because you couldn't prove a damn thing.

When it happened live, I thought the same thing. But you simply can't tell either way from the replay. If the call on the field would have been touchback, that would have stood too.
