i'm considering going through this thread and counting how many, "pats got screwed" posts there are.
nice show in defeat...the pats gave it away, the pats got screwed, the refs gave it to the broncos. in respect to kyro, he more clearly defined his stance which isn't as bad as the rest of these b.s. posts - but the rest of this crap that i'm reading is just embarrassing. i'm glad i watched the game instead of watching and posting. |

in respect to kyro, he more clearly defined his stance [/ QUOTE ] ok, heres my stance. im completely indifferent to both teams. i hate watching refs [censored] games up and thats clearly what happened. 1. phantom pi call. 2. uncalled false start on long field goal. 3. touchback rule not implemented despite clear replay. this is the worst by far tho. no reason for replay if refs are just gonna ignore evidence. seriously, there is no freaking way the ball went out on the 1 yd line. that is absolutely irrefutable. a case could be made that he had possession in the end zone for a td but one thing is certain the ball went out of bounds thru the end zone NOT the 1 yd line. |

despite clear replay [/ QUOTE ] You must have your own personal camera angle -- because you couldn't tell anything on the ones they showed on TV. |

1) and 2) - there's no reason to believe that denver would have gotten no points otherwise.
1) if there's no pi call, it's 2nd and 10 from the ne 40. 2) if they call false start, it's a 55 yard field goal try. on 3) there clearly was not "indisputable visual evidence" that the call on the field was wrong, unless you saw something that millions others didn't see. |
