My favorite was Phil Simms trying to draw a line in order to salvage the play for the pats. First it was a hell of a play by Champ Bailey especially becuase most corners pick it off and take a knee in the endzone instead of running it back. Then after that it was a combination of Champ being exhausted his guys not blocking and a ridiculous effort by Watson. He might have fumbled out the back but no conclusive evidence.

It's on Brady now to shed the goat horns. The Pats had this game under control. Even if they had to settle for a FG, I believe they win this game easily.

[ QUOTE ]
That [censored] sort of proves Brady's point that the Pats are going to try harder and want to win more. Denver thinks they have them and then chills out Leon Lett style while Ben Watson hustles his ass off. [/ QUOTE ] You can't use one play to prove a point like that. |

For the record, I am in no way arguing that Phil Simms' moment of stupidity shows blatant pro-Pats bias.

It is still a TD-FG game to tie, and far from over. I don't count out the Pats down 11 until Denver has the ball inside 2 minutes to goin the game.
