When are you thinking of going? Check with me before you leave. I don't want to get blamed for anything happening to you down there during hurricane season.

Vehn,
Check out trip advisor for specific feedback. A week is probably the length you want. It takes a day or two to get acclimated in the environment. As for the resort, all inclusives tend to have decent to good food. Nothing bad, just not what most would call very good or great. Sandals tends to be at the mid to lower end of the all inclusive spectrum though it does vary based on property. J |

I've been to Sandals Antigua. It's really nice, but I liked Couples in Negril, Jamaica a thousand times better. They cost around the same, but Negril has one of the best beaches I've ever been on, and the restaurants, activities, etc. were all better.

I've been to Sandals Dunn's River. I can't say anything bad about the trip. Good food, good drink, lots of drink, good pools, good ocean, lots of watersports available, lots of trips available that are close to the resort.
If you go to one of the resorts around Ocho Rios, you have to go to Dolphin Cove and swim with the dolphins. Your SO will love this so much, you'll have a "get out of jail free" for a long time. I've done the dolphin thing at Discovery Cove in Orlando, and it doesn't compare to the one in Jamaica. |
