This has been covered many times, but unfortunately, people keep forgetting.
Raymer did not bust Matusow. He did take a huge chunk (3/4?) of his chips when Matusow called Raymer's all-in with middle pair on a T9x two diamond board. Raymer was holding AJ of diamonds (making him the favorite), hit a diamond, and doubled up. This is when he made the "thanks for busting me, Mike." comment. Later, Matusow got all-in with someone else with AK vs. their AQ. Q on river, bye-bye Mike. Please don't tell me I'm wrong, because this topic has been covered before, and I was right then too. |

was this the WPT? not sure if canada is on same rotation as US for the show........ i remember this guy incredibly obnoxious and he lost to an east indian guy at the end.. is that the show???
i actually thought he's much more of an act than matusow and probably a better person (mussolini vs. stalin was a better dictator LOL)... painful to say but i'd say these guys are good for poker. BTW, the aussie made some horrible plays when it got shorthanded. |
