You have a 4k stack. He probably has AK, 99, 44 then 15% a weaker ace or bluff. You ain't losing much by 4 betting to 350-400 here and it will be good for metagame even though it looks like the play might have short term -ev, but barely.

When you raise the flop, you don't want to fold every time you are 3 betted unless you have a set...
