I'm not even sure the improved PR about it was that huge of a factor.

i think just one of their CS guys happened to see his name, checked him out, determined, "hey, this guy does have an actual history of winning," and then decided that contacting him and UB about his findings was the right thing to do.

Then, he decided to post about it here which DOES give their site some limited, positive PR. But I don't think it was the motivator behind the original act.

Why do I find it impossible to believe that PS is getting involved in this?

I sent PS support an email, we will see if they respond.

Good luck.

This thread is amazing. I mean, yes, poker stars support rules, but to this degree of absolutely incredible? I am inches away from giving poker stars all my online action for life.

Yes this is true, it's not PR since so few people are going to know about this. Just good will.

Because you like so many other people on this site give no one any credibility at all and feel like acting as if everything they say is lying.

Using words like "impossible" in your description of the possibility of pokerstars getting involved is a pretty haterish comment. Who the hell are you to know what stars support would or would not do. Im glad you contributed your well informed view that pokerstars would never get involved.

man you are a douche bag seether.

I asked "why do I find it impossible" so I looked into it and posted the results.

If you had a problem at Burger King would you expect McDonald's to call them up on your behalf?

Why should I give any credibility to someone that hasn't proved it, and claims UB "stole" money?

His subject is a false statement, they didn't "steal" it, the seized it in a situation where most any pokerroom would seize funds. He lost his credibility due to the subject alone.
