TV: Dateline NBC's To Catch a Predator

For sure, I have never met a North American ready for sex at 14 or even 16. Yet there are 10 and 11 year olds engaging in sexual behaviour these days, so things are quite upside down.

Teenage marriage is very common in developing countries and there are several coutries where 12 is the legal age for marriage! So I think this issue is a relative one.

What ticks me off is Dateline and this whole set up routine. Why don't they go after the dangerous child molestors who go after prebuscent children? If someone were masquerading like a 9 year old, I would be happy to see a pervert who approaches them get crushed. But I have not seen this yet.

Also note how most of the men being caught are homosexuals too. Does Dateline go around condemning homosexuality? They have programs featuring this lifestyle on their network, yet many people find homosexuality to be perverted. So having sex with a teenager is hideous, but homosexuality is cool? I don't think it is right to use the sexual weaknesesses of people for entertainment.
