Same Problem here, i have a different ID Number on that other User Area so reg number obviously won't work.
By the way, is it possible to do this with a virtual desktop manager? Problem is, i don't know good free virtual desktop software. |

[/ QUOTE ] Have you tried running it using different credentials - my problem is for some weird reason 2 out of 5 of my PT database wont work outside of my main user area (with PTS, PT or any other app - they are locked or something...). I made a post about it a while back, but nobody seems to know how to fix it and I tried all sorts of messing and still won't work If you run PTS in the user area you registered it under and then assuming you don't get the PT DB problem, you should still be able to get the remote scan to work (just means you have to play poker outside of your main user area). [ QUOTE ] Have you tried running it using different credentials [/ QUOTE ] I dont know how to do this. Idiots guide perhaps? If Im not able to do that is it possible to register it to a different user area than the one its currently on? I did get the script to work(the reverse way I want it) but nothing else that I use is on the other secondary user account. Thx |

[/ QUOTE ] Create a shortcut to an application, then edit the properties and click the "Advanced" button. You will see an option to "Run with different credentials" - check this. When you run the app using the shortcut, you will then be asked under what user account you wish to run the application in. To do this you might have to run PTS, Party and a copy of AHK with altered credentials (BTW: I'm not sure if this will help fix the registration problems...) "Run with different credentials" did the trick. Everything is working perfectly now. The remote script makes the original program MUCH better. Thx.
EDIT: Worked in reverse only still. It does say its registered on the second user area but when I try to use it it just cycles through all the tables super fast and doesnt read any data or really do much of anything. It takes under a second to fly though 29 tables. Wierd..... |

The way to fix it (if I remember right), is to make sure PTS, Party and AHK is all running with the different credentials. PTS and Party quite easy to get going, but to get AHK running with different credentials you need to do this: 1. Make a shortcut to the real AHK executable (not the remote-PTS script!). 2. Edit the properties of this shortcut so the target line says "autohotkey.exe remote-PTS.ahk" (ie: add remote-PTS.ahk on the end - keep the path the same...). 3. Make this shortcut run with different credentials. Juk |

I've been using this program for three days now and on the usefulness scale, I rate it as a 3 out of 10 (could easily become a 7). There are still a ton of improvements to be made and until they're addressed, I would not advise people against shelling out the $20 to register it. ptssupport, I've outlined my suggestions to you in three separate emails. Hope you get a chance to look at them. [/ QUOTE ] This is a bit unfair, don't you think? $20 is a great value for money for this program. I've started using it when I did my first steps at 10/20. Thanks to this program I have been able to find the BEST tables in a matter of minutes (depending of course on the quality of databases you have). The guy who made the software makes a big effort to keep making it even better and on the same time provide excellent customer support. And this isn't even his full-time job. I don't know if anyone remembers "partymine". Simplest piece of software, NO support, cost $50 |

Hey juk; I got the scan and everything working, just not your script. If I open the remote area, I just get a blank screen....should I be running pts-remote with other credentials? [/ QUOTE ] Hey, I was just wondering if you missed this post? Everything including the scan works fine, but the script doesn't do anything....Thanks again tho! |
