Assuming they're actually doing something good while it's down, I suppose it's probably worth it in the long run. Still annoying though.

I like both dogs and cats. Not crazy about birds, and most reptiles I can do without -- dumb as hell and they like to bite. But cats and dogs can both be very personable. It's just with cats, it makes a difference if you're personable back. Dogs don't care if you're a total arsehole. Which is one of the cool things about them.
Dogs are so cool that way I think most of us don't even realize how cool they are. Because we aren't quite tuned in to what selfish arseholes we are.
