Please tell me what is going on when you 3 bet turn call cap and bet river
plz plz plzzzzzzz

I check-raised, he 3 bet and I capped. I bet the river.

I did this because that board was very likely to have missed his range completely. He knows I am capable of a turn move and plays back at me with diamonds almost always, sometimes overcards, etc. So I cap, feeling that the timing of his bet was weak. He calls with whatever draw and folds the river. Once I cap the turn, I obviously have to bet the river.

you did this purely based on the timing of his clicks? what if he's playing 8 tables?

[/ QUOTE ]

Even an 8 tabler will be focusing on the hand enough after they bet the turn to be making a quick decision after the checkraise.

i play 8 tables and i can tell you that's not true
