A lot of successful players don't toke at all, I believe 5% is way to high, I usually do in the 1-2% range if there is a very good dealer, I will pass him/her some $$ privately as they usually chop the tokes among all the dealers.

 If he or she doesn't like it tell them to take notes on your play and score their own mtt win.
