Have you tried telling her that while you trust her, you don't really trust the other guy's intentions, and that it makes you uncomfortable? That you know it's irrational because you trust her totally, but you can't help how you feel? I'm sure she'd understand.

As a woman, I can see her position--my man has no reason to be jealous, but he (like you) used to get a little edgy about certain things involving a long-term ex.

Once he finally told me even though he trusted me he was a little uncomfortable over us hanging out, I stopped hanging out with the guy. I had no idea he felt that way--the ex & I had broken up, and he was just a cool person that I liked to hang out with. A lot of times if we women break up with a guy he kind of turns into a non-guy, so far as hanging out and stuff. Like one of the girls, you know?

For the record, I like sexy underwear too, but I can't see any guy I used to date giving me a gift that intimate while I'm seeing someone else. It's very inappropriate.
