i almost always fold this preflop in this situation.

pushing is definetley not a terrible idea on the flop. raising is better than calling because there are still people behind you and you should make an effort to try to push them off the hand in order to buy more outs (specifically the 8 & 9) and to try to win this hand right here, if possible.

i usually would fold this PF...but as played i think you played it fine, you had a good draw with plenty of outs...but for your main question...your flop raise was fine IMO...

fold preflop, but like you i do enjoy mixin it up every once in a while with the bigger suited connectors in your spot, the flop raise looks perfectly fine, since your asking im assumed you got called and didnt hit, but your hand was played perfectly fine IMO

Calling preflop is definately not a mistake although I would fold if there was 1 less limper. If you're playing a ton of tables you probably don't want to call here. Just thought I'd give some contrast to the other replies, post flop is acceptable.

i'm not a fan of the turn bet.

I would've folded pre-flop ('cause i typically 8+ table and hate post flop poker), but given that situation...

I think the flop bet is fine - although if I had to change it, i'd increase the bet.

I'm not a fan of the turn bet - there's now the chance you're drawing dead, and if he doesn't fold to your flop bet, i can't see him folding to your turn bet. The repeat 3 isn't a card that could plausibly help you, unless you've already hit trips and just filled up.

I think MP has a very good chance of holding trips, with the repeat 3 making a full house. you may now be drawing dead against an opponent who isn't folding. he's limped pre-flop, he's bet strongly on the flop, and called a big raise. the other option for him is to have 99 or TT, but I'd be more surprised.

I don't know why anyone would have a problem with you calling preflop here. Folding is fine, but there is nothing at all wrong with calling here.

Edit: I agree with previous posters points about the turn.

I like making a flop raise to 900 so you're stuffed the rest of the way you would hate to raise and then see a blank turn pushed also you want to try to get higher flush draws to fold.
