Mike Matusow is probably the biggest [censored] in all of professional poker. His constant babble is totally annoying. Hellmuth show a lot of restraint considering the constant crap from the mouth.

Is it any wonder Matusow's life usually is floating around the top of the toilet bowl waiting to go down. He deserves every bad beat and ten times more.

I laugh every time they do a personal piece on the Mouth's troubles. He deserves every bit of it because he is a worthless human being in my book.

What was funny was the fact that Phil read him like a book most of the time. Just because you have the read that somebody is bluffing doesn't necessarily mean you call every bet, because there is always a chance that they are not bluffing.

Welcome to 2+2 Phil.

so let me get this right, you call every stupid bet that someone makes no matter what the circumstance?

Have fun. What does Harrington say, everyone bluffs at least 10% of the time, well, there is ALWAYS a possiblity that someone is not bluffing, even though you believe them to be bluffing. On several hands Helmuth was totally right about what the Mouth had even though he didn't call.

It is amazing how many people thing Matusow is great. He is a very good poker player, but a poor excuse for a human being. What a sad commentary about our society when his act is applauded as great TV, and that he is "Awesome".

Helmuth has his own troubles, but knowing how to play tournament poker isn't one of them, ie. see his record.

I would take Helmuth over the Mouth heads up everyday and twice on Sunday, and I would be rich, just like Phil. lol

People like Matusow because he's very honest, refreshingly so. Both Phil and Mike are total dorks that make clumsy attempts at mocking each other a fair amount of the time. Phil on the other hand is obviously full of crap, especially when he acts like he's never been outplayed. If Barry Greenstein can admit he's been outplayed, so should Phil (and he was by Hoyt in the WSOP TOC).

I see good and bad points to both of them. It was really cool to see Mike win because he wanted it so badly, emotions on his sleeve.

IMHO Mike is very talented but for the general public, people that someone like me would like to see get involved in poker, he is bad for the game.

He's an ex felon that clearly has a problem with drugs and admittedly is a problem gambler with a serious problem. The childish trash that went on between he and the 'Shiek' I and many friends felt made the game look bad...this was supposed to be for the "World Championship". I for one, was embarrassed by it.

I would like to see Mikey get some serious help and try to show some class when playing..and bring himself to a another level.

IMO he's a greatly talented NLHE tournament player and away from the table very likeable.

Just my opinion, I wish him the best

The best part was when phil lost it and started declaring war on everyone. I've never seen a grown man act like a 5 year old on national television. Good episode.

Dannemmen's 'gifts' were about the most entertaining thing of the show. His funny berating of Hellmuth only made himself to look like a man with a sense of humor, and Matusow's entire game plan was based around taunting and needling Hellmuth from before they even sat down at the final table, which was fun to watch

FYP

Televised poker is not about the cards, they don't show nearly enough hands to learn or analyze strategy. So there might as well be some characters to keep it entertaining.

Never seen a grown man act like a 5 year old on national television? Seriously? Did you just get your first television for Christmas?

Actually, I probably just watch too much tv, but grown men acting like children seems to be more of a prerequisite to get on tv than an abnormality.
