i dont think thats a bad split at all, and i was hoping there was a better response than that. i like sports being in its own little hole. that being said, i didnt experience the oot/sports split, so i dont know what that sort of split does to a forum. yasher

With my post, I wasn't stating that I was against the Sporting Forum split. I was jumping up and down the day the politics was removed from OOT and though I hadn't any real problems with the sports threads in OOT, I now see it has turned out to be a good idea. not arguing, ~td

I think the problem here is that everyone knows it would hurt the OOT forum. Even people like DB have to admit that splitting out A&E would hurt OOT. But it would create a good, quality forum. Would this new forum add more than it would hurt OOT? I think the answer is probably yes. Who care is the A&E stuff is in a different forum, if you want to talk about that stuff go there, if you don't, don't. No one is forcing you to stay in OOT.

sports [/ QUOTE ] i think sports and politics were absolutely necessary splits. i don't think this one is absolutely necessary, but i can see that there are more people than i realized that are simply unwilling to set foot in oot.
