Default bottom pair on ace high board

PP 20/40 6max

UTG folds, MP raises, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, I call in the BB with 5c 4h.

Flop As 4c 9h
Checked to button. Button bets, sb folds, I call, MP calls, CO folds.

Turn 3s
Checked around.

River 9c
Checked to button who bets. Think he has air often enough to call?

Button is 23/15/2.2 and CO is 40/20/2

nevermind, stupid post. he has a 9 nearly 100% of the time here.

3bet preflop. your hand has good equity. calling is the worst option.

flop, i c/r-cap. u have bottom pair and a backdoor full house draw which is good enough to go to the felt with given the current state of the 20/40 RNG.

river...fold?? wtf dude. easy raise IMO. let me quote danbright, a wellrespected mhush poster.

Why put yourself in these positions in the first place? Why in the world did you call preflop with junk and what were you thinking calling the flop?? You have a weak pair, no reasonable draws, and three opponents!! Even if somehow you're ahead right now, the chances of you staying ahead are incredibly small. Fold the river, leave the table, cashout, and never rebuy.

He's getting 9:1 with connected cards. Forget implied odds - that is roughly enough immediate odds to flop a striaght draw, trips, or two pair.

and what were you thinking calling the flop?

He's thinking with a draw-free board he's probably got 5 clean outs getting 11:1, making it an easy call. (However, two-pair outs are susceptible to a re-draw, and he isn't closing the action. But still....)

wtf?

Wouldn't button bet a 9 on the turn here? I think pocket pairs are far more likely.

PPs wouldn't bet the river and usually not the flop. What is going to call them on the river?

A 9 is afraid when getting called on a dry ace high flop or maybe he has a weak kicker.

He always has something here look at the board why is he betting air on the flop 5way even if it is checked to him.

It is likely he has a weak suited Ace a 9 or a PP.
