[ QUOTE ]
I didn't know the rules... no more links. I just thought someone might like to read about a home poker game on the home poker page. [/ QUOTE ] Bloggerbane, nevermind the nonsensical replies. They are just kidding around. Small Fry's explanation was correct. Larry was simply pointing out that it was odd to see a tourney use such small denominations. For example at the casino tourneys you may buy in for $30 but you get 5000 chips (it's a good idea not to use dollar signs when referring to tourney chips since they don't represent real money yet). The blinds might start at 25/50 and when you get to heads up play they could be at 4000/8000. It will take the same amount of time to play the event as if you used 1:1 money to chip ratio but it just sounds better. GL with your game. |
