I did not watch the game at all so I can't comment on the score running up nonsense. But what I can comment on is that the pats fans on this board are very douchey. It's not that the people from Boston are especially bad human beings, it just seems that when a team is experiencing wild success it seems to give it's fans the credence to act as if they are somehow superior to other fans. It's a really a strange social phenomenon.

It's not the people of Boston. It's the nature of fandom. I bet the fans of the Bulls were hard to deal with when the Bulls were an unstoppable wrecking machine. It's weird that a sports team can change the way you interact with people so much.

Yeah, this is pretty much spot on. People hate and resent winning teams.

It's a lot more than that. Colts are pretty popular because with annoying Colts fans are a minority. This is likely because they aren't nearly as trendy of a team to like as the Boston teams are.. therefore don't have as many bandwagon obnoxious fans. Nothing the true fans can do about it, but the Jessica's of the world create that resentment. Not just the success of the team.
