Default Re: First time tempted to fold KK preflop.

[ QUOTE ]
I definately have PAHUD..and this is why I was tempted to fold...but then I remembered back on the vast number of posts in this very forum that chastised anyone for even considering folding KK preflop.

And we will continue to chastise in the future. You just happened upon the unicorn and didn't realize it.

On average you will get a pocket pair 6% of time. Throw in AK and you have 7% VPiP. This guy's range is definable with almost 100% certainty. With a 0% PFR (rounded down from 0.4% or so), you have one hand AA (okay maybe KK too) in his raising range. Given this situation, what other conclusion can you reach when villain pushes pre-flop?
