Dan Druff, your request of extra compensation doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If I robbed some lady on the street and I was caught, should I have to pay her in excess of the money I stole? No. I go to jail or whatever punishment is given by a court. The same applies here. I know nothing of the Costa Rican law system or if these guys can be prosecuted at all by who ever, but something like that is the correct punishment here.

Furthermore, it could very well be that AP did not have malicious intentions, so they having to pay would be similar to a cop having to pay the lady I robbed in the street as he happened to walk by.

Also, you require to see an explanation from AP about why they lied. Not going to happen, for very obvious reasons. Do you think they are going to say: "well, we thought we could get away with at first", "then, after all the investigation we really had no choice but to tell the truth to you guys". That's business suicide.
