[ QUOTE ]
Ryu's reasoning is probably "villain will bet any hand he expects to win at showdown and every hand that will never win at showdown, and I am getting 2:1 on my call." Against a villian who won't check behind with a sure loser this line isn't that bad with any hand that can beat a bluff, and ryu's hand can beat most bluffs. villian isn't (likely to be) betting here with a straight or a set, so his range is narrowed significantly. I'm giving ryu credit here, but this is a line of reasoning that is fair and that explains the action. [/ QUOTE ] Thanks, this is the exact key to read my play. Then when he bet the pot on the river so quickly I thought the he was betting on that way coz he know that he couldn't win the hand checking It down, I was 100% surethat he would not bet in that way with less than a middle flush on just air... |
