I think it's 2 years after your traditional 4 years...to be an RN that is. To be an LVN it's 2 years after 2 years college, IIRC.

Pay is very good, you can always get a job, you may get a "gay" stigma so keep the arms pumped up and I say go for it.

Work in hospitals only, they pay way more then offices.
