cartier is not primarily a watch manufacturer, they make jewelry. their watch movements are not made in house which makes them somewhat of a fraud in the eyes of watch enthusiasts. as someone mentioned, however, women will probably be impressed as they will recognize the brand. for whatever thats worth lol.
