[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] If we can get 5 good innings from Fogg this team can compete with anyone. [/ QUOTE ] Unlike all those MLB teams who could compete with nobody and went 0-162 this season. [/ QUOTE ] Furthermore.. this argument is terrible. Why pick an NBA game.. no one has gone 0-82 its all 50/50! Fans pick games.. talk about them.. get excited. Sorry you can't relate to that. [/ QUOTE ] The game to game variance in specific matchups is far far far less in the NBA than in baseball. The Spurs will own the hella out of the Hawks likely some 25 times out of 30 or something. The <best team in baseball> will own the <worst team> to a MUCH less greater degree. You can pick individual basketball games with a meaningful degree of confidence. You can't do that with baesball. |
