People nit-picking on this is my personal pet peeve. If you are emotionally invested in something I think it is fully acceptable to use the term we. I don't use it as much with the Rockies, but with the Broncos I always refer to it as we. I feel anything I've invested time, energy, and emotions into since the day I was born is a part of me. The team is part of the way I identify myself and we is perfectly acceptable.
