[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] most of the players who make the final tables are from europe. it would be nice if they could move at least some of the events so they start 3-6 hours earlier. [/ QUOTE ] Through 15 events, counting the last 8 of the heads-up as the "final table", there have been 54 US + 6 Canada + Brazil, compared to 53 Europe, along with 3 New Zealands, an Australia, and a Korea. A compromise might be something along the lines of one event at 13:00 ET/18:00 GMT and one event at 18:00 ET/23:00 GMT each day. [/ QUOTE ] Great suggestion from rminusq. 2 Events per day so that 1 hold'em and 1 non-hold'em event per day. 2 day tournaments with 11 hour limit unless the FT has already started. To someone going to work in monday morning in Europe the start times at sundays 22:30 CET/23:30 EET (= EST+6/EST+7) are quite tough, if you plan on playing for 10+ hours. |
