The payout structures on Stars [censored] life tilt me. Cut out the "certificates of participation" (stolen from woodguy)and just pay a straight 10% of the field - giving double the buy - in (maybe a little less) for those in the first pay bracket.

This amount of entries like just fell at the very beginning of the pay tier. However, 15% payouts in these big buyin / mass satellite tournaments is a very good thing for the poker economy as a whole.
