Who is MacsenWledig on Stars? Out yourself!

[/ QUOTE ]

Tis I. Why, was I good?

EDIT: BTW, I was calling less than 10% of the effectives stacks + what was already in the pot, and I put you on a high pair that you would stack off with if I the set. You can't fault me on that hand.

Here's your study for today:

Besides, your statement if correct only if my 3-betting range is AA/KK and we're assuming a low flop (this one was on the border) . But.... my range preflop was at tightest 99+/AQ+ so it's a leak on your part to put me on a big PP as I randomly 3-bet medium hands and can you can't assume I stack off even nearly often enough to make it a profitable call OOP. In position you have lots more alternativs like floating but OOP it's just not profitable in the long run. Against a 40/1/0.6 I'd gladly call a 3-bet with implied odds but I'm also assuming you knew me (because of the chat).

Here's the hand by the way:

TBH, my tendency to use the 5/10 rule instead of DBitel's math stems from a learning disability that puts me at a disadvantage when doing arithmetic in my head. Simply put, shifting the decimal point over one place is easier for me than figuring out what 8% of the effective stacks are. As far as whether or not I knew you were 2+2, I didn't come to that conclusion until after you made the comment in chat about implied odds. Once you said that I looked at your stats (the only hands I have on you are from that session) and realized that I think that I've seen the name before. In general, if I don't have hands on a person and recognize their screen name, I probably encountered the name here therefore the chat on my part to confirm that you were 2+2. Admittedly, this call was pushing it close.
