Not all that rare, actually. There was a pretty big scare a few years ago when some well knpwn porn actor was spreading it around. Plus, there was a story some time before that when another dude (Mark something- I forget) alledgedly got AIDS from banging a tranny in Brazil.

Maybe Dom or someone else knowledgable can elaborate. Kind of a buzz kill, though.

you're talking about the Marc Wallice scare, and I addressed it in another post. The head of EvilAngel, John Stagliano (aka Buttman) contracted AIDS when down in Brazil, when he had unprotected sex with a "tranny." He then spread it unkowingly to his wife (porn star Tricia Devereuax).

Both are currently perfectly healthy thanks to AZT and they even had a child who is free of HIV.

Literally, a handfull of people in twenty years. And most of them came from having unprotected sex outside of the biz. That's a hell of a record.
