[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] So I decide to start taking this poker thing seriously. I'll get a coach, start posting on 2+2 and move up to 100nl after beating 50nl for 5 months. Oh wait but first I'll cash out a chunk of my roll. I know I'll just drop down to 25nl and really crush that for a while to get my roll back up. Now I play 500 hands a day and feel sick to my stomach and can't play anymore than that. Mostly 2 outers and 4 outers. [/ QUOTE ] Play more hands and it will feel a lot less frustrating. I'd say shoot for 1k-2k a day. That's usually enough to balance out some of the ugly stuff. That or go on really bad losing sessions [because we all know that the 5BI+ winning sessions are pure skill ;P] [/ QUOTE ] Yeah I usually play 1k-3k hands but this 10 buy under expected value comes after 20k 1ptbb at 25nl where I've been given 10-15 buyins I never would have been given at 50nl. And after beating 50nl for 5ptbb over 50k hands, 150k lifetime. I'm beginning to see what a downswing really is. I feel literally sick at the end of a session and can't put in more hands. Thank god I moved down for it. It's even made me start to get timid like that ak hand above. |
